I posted about Lorde’s incredible new EP “The Love Club” a while ago, but seeing as how she’s still not a chart-topping sensation yet, it looks like I’ve got more work ahead of me.

The title track on “The Love Club” is a song about being uneasy when you’re finally accepted by the in crowd. The production on this is superb: she keeps it minimal for verses and brings out the sugary sweet layers on choruses. Apparently this girl is still in her teens, which means I’m excited for decades more of great music from her. (But seriously, if you haven’t heard “Royals” yet, I highly recommend it. It’s one of my favorite songsof the year)
