I included Uncle Acid + the Deadbeats’ “I’ll Cut You Down” on my favorite songs of 2012, but hadn’t posted about it here. The group are a relatively new discovery for me and I knew their label wasn’t OK with me sharing an MP3. Luckily they’ve got a video for just the song that hooked me. One of the metalheads who frequent CD Central described them to me as sounding as if “The Beatles had gotten around to making a Black Sabbath album.”
