I had no idea Cody Chusnutt was releasing a new album until a promo copy of Landing On a Hundred showed up at my work. It’s a bit spotty, but a bit great. Here’s one of the standout tracks, the soulful “Don’t Wanna Go the Other Way” which sounds like Michael Kiwanuka after chugging some coffee. It’s a holding-onto-faith song that sounds unlike 99.9% of the same.
