Just yesterday I was thinking about how we were supposed to get a “Rock the Casbah” cover with guest appearance from Dr Dog at My Morning Jacket’s Forecastle set this summer. Upon that thought I quickly rushed to youtube to discover that not only have they performed it a few times on their recent tour, this show features help from Band of Horses, including Ben Bridwell’s two daughters!

My normal method of ripping youtube videos into MP3s is failing me right now. If anyone wants to hook me up with a good recording of MMJ playing this cover, I’ll quickly add it to the MMJ covers archive.
