For someone who uses as many studio tricks and instruments as he does, Kishi Bashi’s music sounds surprisingly basic and natural. He’s got such a great way of thinking about production and melody that I’ve yet to hear a bad song from him — and “It All Began with a Burst” is easily one of his best. Can’t wait to hear the full record!
