One step beyond Bonnaroo’s frequent attendees are Bonnaroo’s really devoted fans. If you’re in that group, you’ll no doubt be aware that the festival puts out yearly clues as to their upcoming lineup. These Roo Clues are a fun way to tease fans with little bits of information.

Bonnaroo’s twitter account has begun posting these recently. The clues will eventually get more frequent, but for now we have three to puzzle over. The people at the InfoRoo message board have some long discussions and debates over what are the most likely answers. If you’re deep into Bonnaroo, you’ll want to check it out. I’ll be doing my best to keep track of all the clues on this page, but here’s what we’ve got so far.

Roo Clue #1: Good or evil? Canton-bound. Ascension linked to versions of the Sabbath
Probable solution: Mogwai [Cantonese for "devil." First hit was a cover of Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf"]

Roo Clue #2: A name amongst the Titans. What’s your favorite flavor?
Probable solution: Battles ["Atlas" and "Ice Cream"]

Roo Clue #3: “The original simpleton, mispell the mini-liar”
Probable solution: ???
