[Giveaway!] very limited Avett Brothers at Rupp poster
October 24th, 2011 by Matt

Lexington artist Andy Heath entered this design in Rupp Arena’s contest to design a poster for this Thursday’s Avett Brothers show at Rupp Arena. He didn’t win, but decided to give away three prints of his awesome design anyway. I’m not 100%, but I think five or fewer of these were ever made. I’m giving away one here, one on Facebook, and one on CD Central’s FB page. Winners can pick up the posters at CD Central.
To enter to win one of the super-limited posters, leave a comment with your favorite Avett Brothers song and your email address. I’ll pick a winner at random on Wednesday so you can pick it up before the show.
The winner can pick up the poster from CD Central. CD Central and YANP FB contests for the other two will happen between now and Wednesday.

Not sure about my all-time fav, but for right now I’d say “I would be sad.” There’s too many to pick one!
You know my mail.

My favorite definitely changes, but “Laundry Room” holds a particularly special place in my heart, as it was the first song by them I ever heard live.

“Will You Return?” will go down in the books for me as the first AB song I ever heard. After that, I was a fan.

Current favorite: “Jenny and the Summer Day” from their Country Was album. There’s no way to listen to that song and be in a bad mood afterward. There’s a killer version on Youtube as well.

Let myself live… or Laundry room… or Murder in the city…. or Kick drum heart… or Die die die… you know me, way too indecisive! But if I had to absolutely decide on my fav right now, I would say Kick drum heart.

I really enjoy “Murder in the City.” It means a lot to me, because it illustrates how strong the relationship of family can be. It also reminds me of how much my older sister loves me, and I her.

Today, I’ll say The Lowering.
If I can choose a Seth song, it’d be Sounds of the Season Ending.

My favorite is nothing short of thankful from the mignonette album. No matter how I feel that song makes me happy. It’s Prozac in song!
