Just because the Flaming Lips have about two dozen projects going on right now, that hasn’t stopped Lips multi-instrumentalist Steven Drozd from teaming up with Al Novey (I’ve never heard of him either) to record this Neil Diamond-influenced track. I think the Youtube description says it best:
