[stream] Justice: “Helix”

Thanks to Stereogum for finding the stream for Justice’s new track “Helix.” I can’t decide if it’s my favorite of the leaked songs so far or if it’s the only one that’s a throwaway track. It’s definitely got the pulsing Ed Banger-meets-Ratatat sound of the bass/guitar mix, which is always a plus.

haha. have you checked out the comments on the recent justice songs? man people are NOT excited for the new cd haha. i’m not excited for it either honestly, none of the songs are bananas

they must be strapped for cash releasing all this C-grade material. i guess if they were really in it to win it, they’d pull a daft punk and chill out for a century or two

Yeah, I can’t say I’m exactly clawing at the walls for this album to be released. Nothing we’ve heard from the album has really been that bad, but they really aren’t worth replaying more than a few times.

Am I the only one actually enjoying these? There’s so much more going on in these tracks melodically and harmonically to my ear than anything off of Cross. I guess I’m just a sucker for this kind of BGM-y tune.
