As one or two of you may remember, Miniature Tigers debuted the studio version of “Boomerang” and another song on Turntable.fm in June. I fell in love so hard that I hunted up a live version of the song and made an MP3 out of that. Today the long wait is over; Miniature Tigers finally shared the studio version as a free download. I think you’ll agree that it’s a pretty fantastic track. It’s got all the glory of a Satanic Panic in the Attic-era Of Montreal song’s production with everything I fell in love with about their last album — and that’s high praise from me. No word on a release date yet, but “Boomerang” comes from this upcoming LP Mia Pharaoh, which is just a great title.
