This week at Spinner, we got some news about the Flaming Lips’ upcoming collaboration schedule. Lips frontman Wayne Coyne snuck into Spinner’s interview with Death Cab For Cutie to ask them if they’d like to work together on a short EP. Wayne asks for instrumentals or unfinished songs to collaborate on and Ben says they’ve got a few to offer.

Not only is this news of the DCFC/Lips team-up, but Wayne also says he’s got material in the works with Black Moth Super Rainbow and Nick Cave — the latter of which was news to me.
