As most of you no doubt have learned and forgotten, there is a local section on YANP now. So when there are local bands that I want to write about, but don’t really feel that they’re ready for the main page, I can stick the post there. But when a post on a small Kentucky band winds up on the main page, you can believe I’m into them for real.

There’s so many talented Kentuckians in Silver Tongues that I had to get a cheat sheet sent over. They are as follows: Michael Campbell (The Fervor), Jake Heustis (Wax Fang), James Hewett (Follow The Train), Brian Cronin, David Cronin (Follow The Train). Now that Follow the Train is on indefinite hiatus, David started up Silver Tongues. It’s a great group of musicians who’ve made another in a long series of Kentucky’s great records of 2011. Here’s hoping I can see them play in the near future.
