Rilo Kiley call it quits but solo projects live on

July 14th, 2011 by Matt

NME has an interview with Blake Sennett of Rilo Kiley in which he states that Rilo Kiley won’t be getting together after this latest round of solo-project hiatus. It’s a bummer, but the real crime is that NME called the band a “Country-pop band” even after Under the Blacklight came out.

Time to put The Execution of All Things on the turntable and start making a mix CD of all their various solo projects (don’t forget to include Pierre de Reeder’s 2008 album The Way That It Was!)
