Scissor Sisters @ Bonnaroo 6.11.11
June 25th, 2011 by Matt

I saw a lot of incredible bands at Bonnaroo, however, I’d seen most of them before. Without a doubt, the best band I saw for the first time was the Scissor Sisters.
When you’re seeing band after band of guitar rock groups, it’s an insanely great change of pace to see two lead singers like Jake Shears and Ana Matronic. The duo have massive stage presence backed up by some minor stage choreography. They were incredibly impressive. I wish I’d known more of their material, but I did get to catch “Laura” before I left. That one’s always been a favorite and was even better live.

I saw them recently in Austin. My friends and I decked out in full feathered boas, sparkle, and excessive glitter. http://accidental-music.com/2011/04/04/all-concerts-are-better-when-theres-a-pink-feathered-boa-involved/ Epic!

Scott Hoffman is a driving force in the band, and grew up in Lexington.
