I enjoy Primus albums on the occasions that I come into contact with them. Hell, I have no problem saying I’m slightly above a singles-level fan of theirs. But for whatever reason, their live show just doesn’t click with me. Their Bonnaroo set was a little less jammy than the concert footage I’d seen before, but it still was a bit too extended for me. Still, it was one of those moments where I was able to appreciate how talented the trio were — not to mention what a rare treat it is to see Primus — even though it wasn’t really fully clicking with me. But let me tell you, serious Primus fans in the front row were absolutely loving it.
