I know nothing about Sunless and I’d just as soon keep it that way. The simplicity of their songs is so enjoyable that I don’t really feel like crowding it with any extraneous info about the people who made them.

It seems like vocal/melody-driven bands have really taken over my playlists in the past three years. And while they’ve still got miles to go before they’re champions of their craft, the male/female vocal patterns of “Illuminations” has given Sunless a great starting point. Few more songs like this one and you’ve got a real hit on your hands.
