Sleeper Agent from Bowling Green are out on tour with their neighbors Cage the Elephant. After hearing this track, I know we need to bring them to Lexington for a great rock show. Seriously, fellow Kentuckians, if you aren’t proud of our state by now then I give up.

If there was ever an ill-advised kids’ cartoon about a young Jack White going through high school, they could likely do no better than pay Sleeper Agents for the rights to “Get It Daddy” as Jack’s song he wows the audience with at the end of the year. Bad idea for a show, sure, but that’s a decent way to put these guys on a musical map for you. It’s a poppier version of the raw garage rock that White and so many others have made incredibly respectable. And really, there’s a part halfway through the song where they sound less like teenage Jack might and more like how adult Jack White does sound.
