As someone who wasn’t overly familiar with the Drive-By Truckers, seeing them put on an incredible show at CD Central made me wonder what I’d been doing with my life that was so important that I couldn’t listen to every DBT album. Really, it was a fantastic. When Patterson played “Asshole,” it was what I imagine seeing Uncle Tupelo must’ve been like. The Truckers were fantastic live (more on that in a bit), but I’m really glad I got to see this intimate show at a local business.
