Good news, everyone! Cymbals Eat Guitars will be recording their second album later this month, to be released on Barsuk later this year. To celebrate, we’ve got this fantastic cover of Guided By Voices’ “Gleemer” to jam all weekend year long.

I can’t wait for this release – I feel like their debut album didn’t get enough praise/hype. When I saw them in SF – there were probably 10 people in the crowd at a venue that holds easily 100-125…..their loss! Thanks for posting.

I wholeheartedly agree. I can’t wait for more Cymbals Eat Guitars. YANP introduced me a little over a year ago, and I can’t get enough. Just something so . . . frantic . . . about them. Love it
