Ran across this charming Italian band yesterday. They’ve been compared to Sigur Ros, but I don’t think that’s really a comparison that’s ever going to set you up to enjoy a band. They’re a downtempo, airy pop group that sound fantastic.

Anyone who reads this site regularly can tell you that I will occasionally lament the lack of, or celebrate the presence of synchronicity in the seasons and what kind of music I’m really enjoying at that given moment. What with Kentucky in the dead of winter, I can’t help but feel that Le Gros Ballon is going to sync up well when the first bits of spring start poking through.
