Death From Above 1979 reunite for Coachella

I was out of town for yesterday’s big news: Death From Above 1979 will be reuniting for Coachella 2011. This year’s lineup is pretty good, but likely not enough to get me to make the trip. Still, one reunion show for DFA1979 is a good sign for a tour or at least a few more festival dates.
Death From Above 1979′s show at the Intonation music festival was one of the most fun that I’ve ever seen — even if I almost did get beat to hell by the crowd.

Gotta say, Death From Above 1979 is one of my favorite bands EVER! I hope that they be able to go on tour and have a date around KY. I would buy a ticket for sure. Instantly.

DFA 1979 is my #1 favourite Canadian band, apparently they haven’t been on speaking terms for a long time so this is great news for their cult followers
