Just got sent over Dirty Beaches’ Badlands (out 3/29 on ZOO MUSIC) and instantly dug it. Truthfully I wanted to post a different track, but that’ll be for another time. Plus, it’s always good to have something to wait for, right?

I wouldn’t have thought to combine Idiot Glee’s layered loops with Crocodiles’ fuzzed out approach, but that’s where Dirty Beaches comes in. “Lord Knows Best” is one of the slower, more vocal tracks on the album.
