[VIDEO] Kanye West on SNL

I have no problem saying that Kanye West’s “Power” is a great song. However, I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that he looked like he needed to just CALM DOWN on Saturday Night Live. The theatrics were fine, but I just wanted the poor guy to take a breather.

I just want to say that I have NEVER seen an SNL performance that is ANYWHERE near keeping up with the technicalities of this one. Also, His intensity was pretty…………..full of intensity. About time he isn’t just BEING Kanye West… but proving to be up to par with the EXPECTATIONS of Kanye West.

Hey man, I think the fact that he was so worked up and looked like he needed to calm down was related to the jist of the song. The woman are all so calm and moving very slowly and he looks like a train running on full steam. I think that it was intentional to juxtapose their tranquility with his “spinning out of control” sort of thing going on. It will be interesting to see more performances and see whether this is all part of the staging. I must admit I haven’t seen much else of him lately so I don’t know what he is generally like or whether he gets nervous on big occasions.
