[DOWNLOAD] the Flaming Lips’ “Blastula”: the making of Embryonic

September 9th, 2010 by Matt

I got an email today letting me know that I can and should share this “working cut” of the upcoming Flaming Lips documentary Blastula with you guys. It’ll eventually be put into a Fearless Freaks-style documentary, but for now it’s a 21 minute video for you to enjoy. I’m not hosting it though, so download quickly! When it’s gone, it’s gone!

MOV: The Flaming Lips – Blastula (link / link) (242mb)

Let me also say that I don’t leak stuff without at least some level of permission. But when I got an email from a person involved with this project who asked me to help share it, I double-checked that I could share it and then leapt at the chance.

If you want to repay the Lips for sharing this, go see them on their upcoming tour with Ariel Pink. The Lips are (duh) one of the best live bands that have ever existed. They’re pretty much all our generation has in the way of Kiss/Parliament-level theatrics.

The rapidshare links have a limit of 10 downloads each, and all of them have been used up. :-(

    Double :-( for unavailable downloads.

Does anyone know where to find this? I can’t seem to get the 21 min version anywhere!

Any chance of still being able to get a hold of this? Reupload perhaps?

  • Matt

Sorry, I was told to offer it for a limited time. I think it’s streaming over at Pitchfork, though.

Only just heard about this, and already too late for the pitchfork streaming and the rapidshare links here. Any chance of a re-upload by anyone who managed to download this initially or, alternatively, does anyone know of another source please?

    Would be incredibly grateful!
    Cheers,
    Adam

Guys, this was sent to me under the condition that I only host it for a short short time. I’m sure you’ll have the chance to buy it.
