I picked this one up over at No Modest Bear. That’s the great thing about blogs — even though I can’t read a word of the post, I know that the whole thing always translates to “hey, check this out!”
MP3: Dag for Dag – I am the Assassin
Dag for Dag sounds spooky, strong and mysterious within the first few seconds of “I am the Assassin.” I’m not quite ready to say they sound like they could open up for Radiohead, but the strength of this release makes me think they aren’t too far off. Maybe they could open for Muse while they polish their act?

Cool! Saw them open up for Handsome Furs in Germany about a year and half ago. They were a pretty good live band then, but thought their songs were lacking a bit. Seems like their music is catching up to their performance level.

They opened for Wolf Parade 2 years ago when they were touring Northern Europe, they impressed me then all though a little shaky on vocals. Dag För Dag means Day By Day btw.
