[MP3s] You Ain’t No Picasso’s favorite songs of summer 2010

When I started to piece together this mix of my favorite songs of July, I realized that I forgot to do one recapping June! So hey, let’s just call it even and I’ll mix everything I’ve been enjoying over the past two months into one big pot. Some of these I’ve yet to talk about on YANP (like my 180 turn on Wavves) and others I can’t shut up about (Cults).

  1. Cotton Jones – “Glorylight and Christie” was different from what I was expecting (of course “why go in with expectations”…habit I guess).

But it was about 2:01 (song timer) where I started to understand the direction they’re going in and able to identify with the sound.

Not sure if this is something I would buy just yet, but I’d go see them perform to get the full experience of Cotton Jones..

  2. Thanks for your playlist!
Prisencolinensinainciusol is from Adriano Celentano one of the best italian songwriter from 60’s till today… ;)
