Lightning Bolt! I’m not Lightning Bolt’s biggest fan, but I really enjoyed their set at Pitchfork. Why? I’m not really sure. I couldn’t make out word 1 and their songs seemed to last about 45 seconds each. But it was a fiery display that had me captivated. After getting out of the photo pit, I stuck around for about 20 more minutes and watched the madness. The drummer was basically insane and had a distorted microphone that gave him sheering sheet metal for vocals.

Gotta say, though, I felt pretty sorry for the Pavement and Major Lazer fans who were getting crushed by the crowd. Check the photo below for two unlucky fans who were having a pretty horrible time.
