[VIDEO] the Morning Benders cover Fleetwood Mac
June 21st, 2010 by Matt
Thanks to Stereogum for unearthing this video of the Morning Benders covering Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” live in concert. Unfortunately I’m updating my iPhone to the newest OS and I can’t pause my iTunes until it’s done backing up the phone. So for the next couple minutes I’m stuck with Hall and Oates’ greatest hits, then I can load up this cover. I’m sure it’s great though. The Morning Benders are fantastic, as is Fleetwood Mac.

u can find the cover on their cover album “the bedroom covers,” along with “lovefool” (cardigans) & “i wont share you” (the smiths).

What’s with all the Fleetwood Mac these days? Wasn’t there a reason everyone made fun of this band in the ’80s?

Only people who DIDN’T make fun of Flock of Sea Gulls ever made fun of Fleetwood Mac. Everyone who matters agrees they were excellent musicians/performers.

David: sure there’s a fair bit to laugh about, but you can’t say Rumours and Tusk don’t have some amazing tracks.

Agreed, Matt…Tusk is actually an incredible record.
