I know MGMT’s Congratulations isn’t getting as much love as Oracular Spectacular did, but it’s really grown on me over the past few months. I think if any other band had put it out and it was the first we’d heard from them, it would have blown minds. One of the most interesting things about really complex albums is hearing them recontextualized by acoustic performances. Here’s MGMT doing “Song for Dan Treacy” acoustically.
