[VIDEO] Madeline performs new song “Dead Moon”

I didn’t know Madeline had a new record in the works, but she’s apparently far enough along to be showing off a couple finished songs. Here she is performing “Dead Moon” at a party for Slow Records. Sounds like she’s moving a little toward the Americana range, but that’s A-OK with me if she can keep it sounding this good.

Her voice reminds me of a modern-day Joni Mitchell and it makes my heart flutter. This is BEAUTIFUL. How can I obtain this song?

I adore Madeline so much. I was actually turned onto her music about a year and a half ago by my Sci Fi teacher from High School. He gave me a mix cd with a few of his songs on there and a few from bands I’ve never heard before. One of the songs on there was 1982 and I fell in love. Went out and bought The Slow Bang and White Flag.
This song is beautiful and I can’t wait to hear more new music from her.
