[MP3] new Menomena: “Five Little Rooms”

Don’t even try to act like we aren’t all going crazy waiting for the new Menomena record. It’s written on all of our faces. Luckily the guys picked today to give us our first taste of Mines. I can’t really outdo Menomena drummer Danny Seim’s info that accompanies the download, so I’ll share it here with you:
Here are five little facts about “Five Little Rooms”
It’s the ninth track on our new album
It started out as one song a few years ago and ended up an entirely different song a few months ago
It prominently features the words “prostitute”, “children”, “hung”, “bridegroom”, “suburban” and “mcdonalds” (we’re edgy now, haven’t you heard?)
It was the last song to be chosen for the new record, which, in our perverted world, somehow makes it the most appropriate choice for the first single
It’s either the best or the worst song we’ve ever written; you decide!
