Jon from Absofacto just put up the latest song from his record. This time it’s accompanied by a short explanation of how this Radiohead-esque track was born into being.

From Jon’s description:
Last year I became agitated when I suddenly realized I had an irrational fear of synthesizer sound design, or more specifically, a fear of failing to create good synth sounds from scratch. To help me work through this issue, I decided to make an EP where I designed every sound from scratch on a synthesizer, no presets or modified presets allowed. I had an equally irrational love of simple triangle waves that I can only guess stems from playing too much NES as a kid, and so I placed a further limitation on the project: All sounds must be, at their core, a triangle wave.
