Record Store Day is this Saturday! Check out the releases

Just wanted to give you guys a quick reminder that you only have around 24 hours to finish making your vinyl wish lists for Record Store Day 2010! A lot of the exclusives this year are extremely limited (300 copies going to 700 stores worldwide? Better get there early and pray) but you’re pretty much guaranteed to find something to make your day.

So what’re you going to be picking up? My plans is to start with the Of Montreal, Deerhoof, Flaming Lips and Sharon Jones releases and see where it takes me from there.

if you do get a copy of the of Montreal 7 inch check what track is on which side. mine is labeled incorrectly

Wait . . . I got the of Montreal 7″ 3 years ago from the Gender Mutiny Tour. Why is everything listing it as new? Is it a reissue?

I got the gogol bordello 7″, the Pheonix 12″, and while I was there found a copy of Emmit Rhodes’ Mirror on vinyl. :) Since I’m out in the boonies I’m surprised they had anything from this at all, but yeah. Awesome. :) There was a lot of great stuff on this list that I hope everyone is enjoying. Hopefully some of it gets added to my collection over the next few months!
