After walking around for a long while only to find that my two choices for noontime activities had hugely long lines, I decided to stop and have a drink while I recalculated my SXSW options. I decided that instead of going to the I Guess I’m Floating party later in the day, I’d stop by earlier and see what they had going on. Aside from one of the most packed crowds I saw while at SXSW, turns out they had Lemonade going on!

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize the party was running late (“the schedule says this is Ruby Suns… but that doesn’t look like the Ruby Suns guy…”), but once I got it figured out I settled in to enjoy the show. I’ve never really been hooked by Lemonade, but I had fun at their show. The Caribbean-pop vibe of their live show was a nice chance from all the indie rock I’d been catching.
