[SXSW] Morning Benders @ Eastbound & Found 3.18.10
March 23rd, 2010 by Matt

The first thing I did when I found out I was going to be involved with another SXSW party was to try and book the Morning Benders. Sure, I knew they’d be a good draw for our event, but mostly I just wanted to have one time when I was guaranteed to see them. SXSW: when selfishness actually works out for the benefit of everyone.
MP3: The Morning Benders – Promises
As with the first time I caught them at SXSW, the Morning Benders have taken the opportunity that the success of Big Echo afforded them and used it to up their game by a lot. Their live show is a smart blend of early ’60s vocal pop and timeless guitar shredding. They’re a group I feel like I could see over and over again without tiring of in the least.
