As I said yesterday, I had quite the time traveling back from Austin in time to catch Portugal. The Man in Cincinnati. It was all made worth it by a great live show that included covers of my favorite David Bowie song, MGMT’s “Weekend Warriors,” Harry Nilsson’s “One” and the Kinks’ “Strangers.” I made a really poor recording of their Bowie > MGMT cover, but lucked out and found this good quality video on Youtube. So I’ll spare you my fuzzy recording from the Cinci show and let you enjoy the magic of “Moonage Daydream” and “Weekend Warriors” being paired together.
