[SXSW] White Denim @ the Mohawk 3.17.10

If I had a SXSW/Austin bingo card, one of the squares would definitely be "see White Denim." It seems that I can't set foot in the city without running into Austin's garage rock kings -- which is fine by me, since they put on a great show.
Now, truthfully, White Denim's show at the Mohawk was one of the more normal and un-explosive shows I've seen of theirs. Compared to their psychedelic
show at Monolith and ferocious
Hot Freaks gig, their Austinist show was pretty tame. But a tame White Denim show is still a show that's well worth your time. They've only gotten tighter in the months since I last saw them and seem to use that freedom to turn in a lot more guitar solos and jamming.
