MP3: Oh No Ono – Internet Warrior

Oh No Ono were the smallest band on my “gotta see” list, but their new album Eggs combined with the fact that I didn’t know when they’d tour the states again to earn them a spot on it. And though I’m sure they had a hell of a time translating the densely orchestrated sound of their record into a live show, it wound up sounding great. Case in point: the strings playing the riff on “Eleanor Speaks” were replaced with some great sounding distorted slide guitar. I’m really glad I made time for these guys amid all the craziness of SXSW.
