In a prime example of burying the lede, I got an email about preordeing the Apples in Stereo’s new album Travellers in Space and Time with info about halfway in as to how to stream the record in full! I’ll forgive them for not blasting me with that info since the preorder gets you a sweet 12″ of Ted Leo, Elf Power and others covering the Apples in Stereo.

after streaming the album, “dignified dignitary” is about the only song i’d want to listen to again. too much piano on this album, not enough guitar.

Dignified Dignitary IS a really fun song! It has a lot of the American Revolution sound and swagger. Like you just want to give someone the finger while you’re listening to it, kick a monitor off the stage…
