I think it’s flashback week here at You Ain’t No Picasso! I just got to write about The Light Footwork for the first time in forever and now I’m writing about Kite Flying Society, a pop group I used to cover all the time until they went on a brief hiatus. I posted a live video of this song so long ago that I think the blog had a black background then. It wound up being every bit as great when done up in the studio as I hoped it would be. “Coney Island” is a really simple, beautiful pop song that warms my heart in anticipation for spring.
