[VIDEO] Decemberists perform new song “Springville”

Now, it’d be really easy for me to say that “Springville” sounds like the Decemberists are headed back toward their folksy ways. However, it’s a solo performance by Colin Meloy, so it’d be hard for any song to sound as proggy as their last few albums with just him and an acoustic guitar. But even so, it really sounds like they’re headed back in a direction that I can dig even more than their last, totally respectable, album.

I love both Colin Meloy’s music and The Decemberists. This sounds great!
