I’m fairly sure I’ve heard Let’s Wrestle before, but for all intents and purposes, this is my first real exposure to them. Let’s Wrestle were just announced as Merge’s newest signees, offering us this MP3 to go along with the news.

There’s a lot kicking around in what seems like such a simple song. They sound a good bit like the Wombats, have a strong 90s American indie vibe and also crowbar a great 60s surf vibe in the mix as well. I’m going to need to hear more from these guys, but judging from this song alone, I can see why Merge snagged them up.
