Steve Martin confirmed for Bonnaroo
January 12th, 2010 by Matt

Of course it’s not a standup comedy set, but it’s a reason for me to get excited nonetheless. Steve Martin, one of my favorite human beings in the world, has just been confirmed for Bonnaroo. This interview with Steep Canyon Rangers, revealed that they’ll be playing Bonnaroo 2010 along with Steve Martin.
If you haven’t read Martin’s book “Born Standing Up,” it’s highly recommended. And of course his standup, movie and music careers are unparalleled. Check out this video for an example of two out of the three at work:

I’ve seen Steve Martin with the Steep County Rangers twice here in LA (once at the Club Nokia and once at the intimate Largo) and I can attest to the fact that he is absolutely fantastic.
enjoy.

Andrew: he almost definitely won’t be doing comedy. He hasn’t done standup in decades. This is a set of bluegrass music.
