  I believe on 9-19-06, MMJ does The Who’s “A Quick One…” with Eddie Vedder (the day before they did The Band’s “It Makes No Difference”). You can probably find a good decent mp3 of it on Soulseek.

  This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. MMJ is one of the best acts and most talented performers of our generation. Jim James is a cool customer.

  Well AB, poor grammar and bad spelling aside (and really, no need to shout or name call for that matter), you’re dead wrong. Listen to MMJ’s cover of Oh! Sweet Nuthin or A Quick One While He’s Away. MMJ is in a class all by themselves cover-wise. If there’s a better live band in America today then name some bands rather than resort to petty name calling.

  I was introduced to MMJ in 2005 and immediately fell into a trace. They are just so incredible. I didn’t think I could like them anymore until I saw them perform live in ’08 at Bonnaroo. I just watched their unstaged performance at the Palace Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky: SO AWESOME!!!! They never disappoint. Can’t wait to see them live again in August.
  Thanks for posting all these I haven’t been able to find any good sound quality.

  Damn I was just sitting down listening to Sam Cooke hoping that Jacket would cover him one day. Found this. And it’s one of my all time favorite Sam Cooke songs ‘Bring it on Home to Me’.
