Pavement leaked as Pitchfork headliner?
January 11th, 2010 by Matt

Will Pavement headline Pitchfork this year? The Louisville Courier-Journal sure seems to think so. In an interview with Louisville’s/Pavement’s Bob Nastanovich, the CJ dropped this interesting bit about the show Pavement are likely to play closest to Lville:
“Chicago’s Pitchfork Festival will likely be the closest; the only non-festival U.S. dates announced so far are the late September shows in Central Park.”
Pavement fans rejoice. I’ll just rejoice knowing that I get to see them this year no matter what, now. The less work I have to do, the better, I always say.
Thanks to Michael for the tip.

Is that so? I read somewhere that Pavement was headlining Sasquatch this year. I wonder when the lineup will be confirmed for the P4K fest?

Usually they start announcing stuff just before SXSW. I think that’s the timeline anyway.

Most overvalued and overrated band ever.

Skip, did you seriously just say that on an indie rock blog?
