Literally 20 minutes after I told someone that my New Year’s resolution was to go to more concerts, Of Montreal announced a string of tour dates that take them within an easy weekend drive of my house. Way to call my bluff, guys. Since my curiosity to hear these new songs he’s working on with Jon Brion my initial reaction is to say that I’m going to make the drive to Nashville.

nashville nashville nashville!!! i am so there. even though it’s a 2.5 hour drive.
so excited, this will be my 3rd time seeing them in like less than 18 months.

They were great last night in Boston! I really like these slightly toned- down club shows they do (compared with the fall ‘08 tour). Great setlist, very similar (if not identical) to what they did in NYC, which has been posted several places.
