It isn’t the album that I expected though. It is the recorded version of the experimental opera about Charle’s Darwin’s, On The Origin Of Species that was commisioned by Danish performance group Hotel Pro Forma.

I saw the opera in Dresden in 2009. It took me there only because of The Knife. Not a big fan of the concept of opera nor festivals for new music, I was still amazed what a brilliant show it was. Watch it if you can!

They didn’t cover Heartbeats, they wrote it. Jose Gonzalez covered it for that Sony commercial. But ontopic: this sounds amazing, this record is gonna be good.
