Buried in a Brooklyn Vegan news post was this fun little tidbit: Kevin Barnes has contributed to an upcoming GZA album. It’s presumably backing instrumental contribution on his next record, but with Kevin you never really know.

Add that to rumors of Beyonce, Jon Brion, Janelle Monae and Solange and it looks like he’s got a busy dance card. Oh, and that business with Beyonce? He’s started writing one called “Here’s My Party Drug” that he says sounds like The Time meets Four Tet. Wicked.
