Hey! Looks like ol’ Billy C is doing his best to keep Smashing Pumpkins fans interested in what he’s up to. His latest plan isn’t a bad one — he’s releasing 44 songs on the official web site one at a time. The first, “Song for a Son,” just went live a couple days ago.

Corgan told Spinner:

“It’s got something to do about not having any kids and thinking about why I don’t have any kids. And then also kind of thinking about my relationship with my father — there’s some kind of connection there, but it’s not overt.”
