Happy thanksgiving! I celebrated today alone, but haven’t had this much fun in a while. My dad’s out of town visiting my sister’s family, my girlfriend is visiting her brother’s family and my mom’s side of the family does Tgiving on Saturday. So I had a great day taking care of a lot of stuff that needed to be done, culminating in cooking my first Thanksgiving meal ever. Steak, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob, all eaten while watching Talking Heads live videos. Most of the eating time was spent watching the Live in Rome concert, but as embedding is disabled, I thought this 2009 video of David Byrne playing one of my favorite Talking Heads songs would work quite well.
